SHELBY, N.C. -- Three people were shot Friday afternoon outside of Ramblewood Apartments in Shelby.

Police said all three victims were taken to Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Their conditions have not been released, but police said the injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.

The shooting happened at about 1:35 p.m. Friday.

Shelby police said they are following leads on a possible suspect.
