CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police in Mint Hill have arrested eight people in what they're calling a major drug bust.

Investigators say the people were growing marijuana plants in the basement of a home on Truelight Church Road.

The operation included an irrigation system and lighting.

Police say an anonymous tip led them to the home.

Arrested were: Brent Austin, Benjamin Tyson, Stanley Hooks, Travis Hunt, Michah Young, Hunter Rushen, Fred Printzlau and Cody McSwain.
