CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. -- A construction worker was killed Tuesday afternoon when his truck overturned off the side of Highway 321 in Caldwell County.

The truck overturned off Blowing Rock Boulevard.

It happened at about 3 p.m. on Blowing Rock Boulevard near Mountain Man Trading Post.

Few details have been released, but officials did confirm that one person was killed.
