CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It's going to be a long night for cyclists in the Queen City.

The "24 Hours of Booty" race kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday. About 1,200 riders are expected to pedal all night long and then all day tomorrow.

Crews have been busy, setting up for the ride at the Queens University athletic fields.

The event is an official cycling event of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and raises money for people living with cancer.
