MINT HILL, N.C. -- A breaking and entering investigation in Mint Hill on Saturday ended in the arrest of two men accused of rape.

Gennadiy Rizhkov and Ion Svet are being held without bond in Mecklenburg County Jail.

The investigation began when officers were called to a home after a woman broke through the front door. She told the homeowner she had been sexually assaulted at a house across the street.

The two suspects were found a short distance away hiding underneath the deck of another home.

The victim was treated and released from a hospital.
