LANCASTER, S.C. – A teenager is listed in stable condition after he was accidentally shot by his friend Thursday evening.

Two teenagers were playing with a .22 caliber revolver in a shed behind a home on Shiloh Unity Road when it accidentally went off striking one of the boys in the chest, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s office says.

The teen was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
