GRANITE FALLS, N.C. -- The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 27-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday morning.

Michael Scott Fife was last seen at his home in Granite Falls.

Deputies say he told his girlfriend that he was going to run some errands. Later, Fife's girlfriend noticed that Fife's car was in the driveway and his cell phone had been left at home.

He has not been seen since.

Deputies say Fife was supposed to report to court on Monday for narcotics offenses in Iredell County.

Fife is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 235 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
