| Recommended Bicyclist struck by car, killed

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A bicyclist was killed Monday afternoon after being struck by a car on North Tryon Street.
It happened just after 2 p.m. at 7100 North Tryon Street.
Medic officials said the cyclist, identified as James Nelson Binch, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department was investigating. Officers were interviewing the driver who struck the man.
