Trump, Biden visit North Carolina today

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Vice President Joe Biden attended a public event late Monday morning at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte. Biden talked about efforts by President Barack Obama's administration to help businesses and community colleges expand the middle class. Obama and Biden leave office in January.

From Charlotte, Biden headed to Fort Mill for private political event for his former staffer Fran Person who is running again Rep. Mick Mulvaney.

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, was expected to hold a rally early Monday evening in Asheville's downtown arena.
