Man charged with hitting two students due in court

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man charged with hitting two girls trying to get to their school bus in south Charlotte will be in court Tuesday afternoon.

36-year-old Gregory Holmes was charged with Pass Stop School Bus Strike Person.

The accident happened in the early morning of Thursday, November 9. CMPD said the Myers Park High School students were trying to cross Scaleybark Road near Aycock Lane when they were hit.

MEDIC said both children had non-life threatening injuries.
