Make Colorado snow again: small group protests against weather

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS - DENVER, Colo. (KUSA) -- Several young men in Steamboat Springs are hitting the streets to make sure their voices are heard.

On Saturday they took over the corner near 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue with signs calling for less hate and more snow.

One of their signs says "make Colorado snow again", while another says "anything but summer."

"There's a lot of negativity in the world," one of the men said in a video posted on YouTube. "What we really need to do is focus on the topics and that's our season. You know we need snow!"

In the video the bare mountain is visible in the background. As of now Steamboat's opening day is set for November 24.
