TALLAHASEE, Florida -- A mural dedicated to Trayvon Martin is stirring up controversy in Tallahassee.
The artist known only as “Huong” had the words “We are all Trayvon Martin” written in several languages across the piece. The work also features images of Martin Luther King and other civil rights leaders. The most controversial part of the mural depicts George Zimmerman shooting a faceless, hooded figure in the head.
The artist said her creation is part of the peace mural foundation, a non-profit group dedicated to promoting awareness of human pain and suffering through art.
