CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people were transported to the hospital following a possible hazmat situation in the uptown Bank of America late Tuesday morning.
Police responded to investigate an unidentified substance in the mail room of the building in the 100 block of North Tryon Street.
Both patients’ injuries were non-life-threatening. Police say they were transported as a precaution.
The case remains under investigation but the police department says everything appears to be normal.
No evacuation order was ever in place.
