CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Things are rocking in South End! The first gallery crawl of the month is set for this Friday, May 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.
New businesses, new restaurants and new galleries are taking part in the crawl. South End Gallery Crawls are on the first Friday of every month. Many local restaurants and clubs are close by, so make a night of it with dinner and entertainment.
New: Edwin Gil + Paris Pierides - two new international artists now in South End; artEVATION: Save Our Signs at Atherton Mill…a multi-media invitational art show featuring a dozen local and regional artists and their interpretations of local signage, vanishing Americana and the emerging urban landscape; Paintings, Ponies & Puppies charity event at Hacker Studio Gallery; and at Charlotte Trolley, Stefan Duncan is the creator of what is known as "squigglelism" which is a Van Gogh type of painting with a twist.
