FORT MILL, S.C. -- A South Carolina lottery player just missed the $590 million Powerball jackpot winnings this weekend.
A Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold at K Won Mart in the 2800 block of Highway 160 in Fort Mill for Saturday’s drawing.
The ticket came within one number of getting a share of the record-breaking jackpot. The winner matched all five white ball numbers to win a $1 million prize. The ticket holder purchased PowerPlay for an extra dollar to double the winnings.
One winning ticket sold at a Publix Supermarket in Florida earned the $590 million.
Powerball says more than 100,000 players have yet to claim their prizes from this weekend.
The winning numbers were: 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52. The Powerball number was 11.
