CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police cited 25 people for not wearing a seatbelt during a checkpoint operation conducted Wednesday night in east Charlotte.
Officers held the checkpoint at Independence Blvd and Village Lake Drive. CMPD charged and cited 48 people between the hours of 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
