COLUMBIA, S.C.  -- Three members of the Hells Angels from Rock Hill have been convicted on federal weapons and drug charges.

The men were convicted Thursday in a trial that ran more than five weeks in U.S. District Court in Columbia.

Rock Hill chapter president Mark Baker, David Oiler of Lancaster, and Bruce Long of the Columbia area will be sentenced later.

A fourth member, Thomas Plyler of Lancaster, was found not guilty of the three charges against him.

U.S. attorney's spokeswoman Beth Drake said she could not comment on the verdicts because U.S. District Judge Cameron Currie and the jury still have to consider procedural matters in the case.

Federal prosecutors said the Hells Angels were directing a criminal enterprise involving cocaine, methamphetamine and weapons.

All three men are expected to appeal.
