VA hospital in Salisbury cleared after bomb threat

SALISBURY, N.C. -- The VA Medical Center in Salisbury was cleared after a bomb threat was made Wednesday morning.

An official said an alert of a bomb threat was sent out around 9 a.m.

The hospital was evacuated and the bomb squad from Salisbury investigated and cleared the scene around 11 a.m.

There were no reported injuries during the incident.
