CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- No one was injured after a car drove into a home in east Charlotte Wednesday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said a woman lost control of her car and drove it into a home off of Allenton Trails Lane.
The woman told police she tried to stop but the brakes and emergency brake failed. The car hit the front of house between the garage and the front door.
No one was injured in the home, according to emergency crews.
The county building inspector declared the house unsafe since it had shifted cracking the foundation.
