July 4, 2013

Boone: 4th of July Parade & Fireworks. Festivities and fireworks at Clawson/Burnley Park 7 – 9:30 p.m.

Charlotte:
Red, White and Boom! 4th of July Spectacular in Uptown Charlotte. Activities at Memorial Stadium from 6-9. Fireworks begin at 9:30. Outside food and drink not allowed.

Charlotte: “Nights of Fire” at Carowinds. Nightly fireworks starting July 4.

Charlotte:
Coulwood Community 4th of July Parade, Coulwood Community Park. Event starts at 9 a.m.

Charlotte: 4th of July Festival at U.S. National Whitewater Centre on July 3 and 4. Live music, cornhole tournament and fireworks. Event runs from 3:30 to dusk on Wednesday and 2 to dusk Thursday.

Davidson: 4th of July parade and concert – Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on July 4 on the Village Green downtown. The concert begins at 6.

Gastonia:
Red, White and Freedom Festival - All day festivities in Downtown Gastonia, including car show, fireworks and a bake-off contest. Long Avenue and Marietta Street.

Hamlet:
4th of July Family fun day – live music, lots of kid games, historic RR tour. Fireworks at 9 p.m. 2 Main Street. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Harrisburg: Fireworks at 10 p.m. 07/03-07/04 at Harrisburg Park

Huntersville: Food, parade and even a water fight at Birkdale Village.

Indian Trail:
4th of July parade at Crossing Paths Park at 9 a.m.

Kings Mountain: “Revolutionary 4th!” event at the Walking Track Park. Event includes music and fireworks and starts at 5 p.m.

Lincolnton:
4th of July parade from Main Street to Lincolnton High School at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks at the high school.

Matthews: Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. on the Town Green, followed by a parade and concert.

Rock Hill: 'Red, White & Boom' has been canceled due to inclement weather. Read more.

Waxhaw:  Parade, beach party and fireworks in downtown Waxhaw – all day event from 10-sundown

Banner Elk: 47th Annual Roasting of the Hog – all day family event; fireworks at sundown  - 7/06

Belmont: Red, White and Belmont 06/28-29, Stowe Park in Belmont – all day

Morganton: Red, White and Bluegrass -07/01

Kannapolis: Charlotte Symphony with fireworks – 07/02- Village Park Amphitheater 7 p.m.

Kannapolis: Kannapolis Intimidators – Post game fireworks 07/03
