McADENVILLE, N.C. -- McAdenville has lit up the holiday season for more than five decades.
Christmas Town USA is a tradition for generations of families across the Charlotte area and beyond. While the weather hasn't been particularly frightful this holiday season, even if it was, the Moss family would still visit.
"It's tradition. We love it. We've been here when it's been 10 degrees out here," said York resident Tim Moss.
His daughter, Renee Wright, now brings her son, explaining to little Henry that it's something the family does every year.
"This was what mommy did when she was a baby. Just passing it on. Dad did it as a kid; I did it when I was a kid. Now, I want my kids to do it," she said.
Even after decades, there are some things that never get old.
"Just how big the lights are! You know, when i was so small they just seemed to be everywhere and they were so pretty," said Charlotte resident Ben Worthington.
You can catch the McAdenville lights through December 26th.
