KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – An investigation is underway after a vehicle caught fire near Crowder’s Mountain and damaged a nearby home early Wednesday morning.
Multiple crews were called to the scene around 1:45 a.m. and arrived to find a SUV and camper fully engulfed in flames near a home.
Crews put out the fire in 45 minutes, but the home did sustain a bit of damage to the siding. No one was injured in the incident.
The Gaston County Fire Investigations Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire.
