CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Local detectives are investigating a gun fight in east Charlotte involving more than a dozen people, including some teenagers.
The fight happened late Saturday night on Kilborne Drive near Eastway Drive.
Passengers in two cars started shooting at each other and didn’t stop until one of the cars crashed into a tree, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department report.
There are at least eight victims, five suspects and eight guns involved in the fight.
Police said they are looking into the possibility this was a gang-related incident.
No one was seriously hurt and no arrests have been made.
