CONCORD, N.C. -- Concord fire officials are trying to determine the cause of a early Thursday morning building fire.
The fire happened at a building near the intersection of Poplar Tent Road and Eva Drive around 3:30 a.m.
A total of 6 apparatus and 23 personnel were used to bring the fire under control at 4 a.m., according to officials.
The Concord Fire Department was assisted by Concord Police and Cabarrus County EMS. The build once served as Poplar Tent Volunteer Fire Department and Charlie’s Auto Service.
Concord Fire Department Investigation Division and Concord Police are conducting the investigation.
