CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Emergency crews responded to a house fire in southwest Charlotte Thursday afternoon.
The fire began around 3 p.m. at a home off Westham Ridge Road near Nations Ford and West Tyvola Roads. It took 11 minutes for firefighters to get the blaze under control, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
No one was hurt, but the family who lived in the house has been displaced.
