CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Fire officials tell NBC Charlotte one firefighter has been injured while fighting a blaze Thursday afternoon.
The scene was in the 2600 block of Woodsorrel Lane. Authorities say heavy smoke and fire was visible from the home upon their arrival.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control in 26 minutes.
Officials say the injured fireman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The occupants of the home are displaced as a result of the blaze.
