HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Authorities in Huntersville have blocked a road after a sinkhole developed early Tuesday morning.
Huntersville police and fire have blocked part of Bud Henderson Road at Darblay Street after a deep sinkhole developed.
The Huntersville Fire Department tweeted a photo of the sinkhole developing early this morning. The sinkhole spans the entire width of Bud Henderson Road and is about four inches wide.
Crews are on the scene assessing the damage caused by the sinkhole.
No word yet how long Bud Henderson Road will be closed.
