CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One person was killed in a southwest Charlotte industrial accident late Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of Forsyth Park Drive just north of Westinghouse Boulevard at the SSD Drives Division facility owned by Parker Hannifan Corporation.
One person died after being crushed by a large cabinet at the facility, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
A second victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville with non-life threatening injuries.
Further details have not been released. It's unclear if the victims were employees at the facility.
