Man snags cash from register and flees Stallings Walgreen's

STALLINGS, N.C. -- Stallings Police are working to identify a man who robbed a Walgreen's on Wednesday morning.

Around 10:15, Stallings Police responded to the Walgreen's at the corner of Potter Road and Chestnut Lane in reference to a robbery.

Police say the middle-aged white male, approximately 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, with a gray and black beard, snagged an undisclosed amount of cash when an employee opened the register. He then fled the store on foot in the direction of Whetstone Drive.

The man did not present a weapon, police say.

His clothing is described as a dark gray hoodie, blue and white plaid pants, black slip-on shoes and a tan hat.
