STANFIELD, N.C. -- Authorities in Stanly County say two men stumbled upon a meth lab dumpsite in a wooded area in Stanfield.

On Sunday, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrived at the scene in a wooded area off of Clifton Road.

Two men walking through the woods found what officials say is a dumpsite for meth lab materials.

Authorities found Coleman fuel, household lye, coffee filters, plastic tubing, organic solvents and a bottle containing an old "one pot" manufacture process.

The scene was cleaned up by deputies with the Stanly County Sheriff's Office and SBI agents.

No arrests have been made in the case, but authorities ask anyone with information to please cone forward by contacting the Sheriff's Office at (704) 986-3727.
