CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- When Chiquita moves into the NASCAR Plaza later this year, the company will create about 200 corporate jobs. But one local mom has already landed the first job with Chiquita—as a blogger.
The website Chiquitamoms.com launched this week. Katie Barnes Harding is one of just five bloggers chosen from around the country to work for the company
She says the website is geared towards young families, and reflects the company's emphasis on community.
“It's a great place for moms to get to know each other online, share tips,” Harding said. “Healthy lifestyle, making simple life by doing fun things with family, keeping nutrition in your home and showing children.”
