CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- When we say we are looking out for you, here is what we mean.
The other night NBC Charlotte did a story on an 80-year old woman who showed us the kudzu vines that were creeping into her yard.
Virginia McGinn was afraid they would soon take over.
The vines were coming from property across the street owned by Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
Well, it turns out Airport Director Jerry Orr himself heard about the story, and according to a statement from his office, he was “adamant” that it be taken care of.
He sent people out there to take a look, and as soon as weather permits they will clear the kudzu and make sure it doesn’t come back.
