CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Dozens take part in the 4th annual Dilworth/SouthEnd Chili Cook off.
Hundreds are treating their taste buds to an array of chili at the Cook Off.
A number of restaurants and other "teams" are taking part to make a variety of chili. There’s a bit of everything from traditional to vegetarian chili dishes are on display for the contest.
The event costs $10 for adults and is free for children.
Proceeds go to support the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department fire prevention and A Safe Alliance.
The cook off goes from 11 a.m. – 4p.m at the SouthEnd Brewery off South Blvd.
