CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A man was shot and killed outside a Charlotte nightclub early Friday morning.
The shooting happened in the parking lot of Club 935 around 2:30 a.m. off of South Summit Avenue near uptown, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
An argument broke out in the parking lot and 24-year-old Paul Anthony Fyffe Jr. was shot, police said.
When officers arrived on scene, they located Fyffe suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center where he was later died.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are canvassing the neighborhood to determine whether there are any witnesses to this incident. Police do not have anyone in custody related to this shooting.
