Man shot in York; police search for gunman

YORK, S.C. -- York police are looking for a man wanted in a shooting on Sunday night.

Police responded to a shooting off of Autumn Place around 11 p.m.  When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was able to identify 42-year-old Anthony Eugene Lord as the man who shot him. The victim was airlifted to a hospital in Charlotte and is listed in critical condition.

The York Police Department has two warrants for Lord. The warrants are for possession of a weapon during a violent crime and attempted murder.

York Police say there were two young children in the home at the time of the shooting-- one 13-months-old, the second was 18-months-old.
