CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police found a missing elderly woman who suffers from dementia Tuesday morning.
Police said 85-year-old Peggy Furr left a home off of Sandy Porter Road in southwest Charlotte around 1:15 p.m. on Monday.
Furr didn't made contact with any friends or family members since Monday afternoon after she left a friends home.
Furr was found early Tuesday morning and reunited with her family. Police have not said where she was found or if she was injured.
