CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A local restaurant that was sued over its name is now changing its name.

NewsChannel 36 first reported on the two restaurants -- both named "Blue Basil" -- in August.

The "Blu Basil" in Cotswold claims "Blue Basil" in Blakeney stole its name and some of its customers.

The Cotswold restaurant trademarked the name and filed a lawsuit against the other restaurant.

Now, the Blakeney "Blue Basil" owner says he will rename the restaurant.
