Auto Fare armed robbery
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Crime Stoppers is offering a $6,000 award for anyone who can help identify the two suspects who robbed a west Charlotte business at gunpoint last month.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said two suspects shot out the glass of a door at Auto Fare car lot on September 8 around 9 a.m. The business is located at 3558 Wilkinson Boulevard between Billy Graham Parkway and Interstate 77.
“When officers arrived, one of the victims stated that two suspects shot out the glass of the business' interior door, and assaulted one of the employees, before moving him and several other employees to different rooms during the commission of the robbery,” CMPD said in a statement.
Both suspects had pistols and stole several items before leaving the scene.
The owner of Auto Fare gave Crime Stoppers a $5,000 check, bringing the total reward in the case to $6,000.
