CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte police are on the hunt for a sly armed robber.
Early Monday morning someone broke into the popular uptown restaurant Fox and House.
Someone stole thousands of dollars from the business on North Tryon Street.
Police said the suspect hid in the restaurant until it was closed for the night and then surprised the workers while they were counting the cash. He pointed a gun at them, took the money and ran off.
No one was hurt during the incident, and police said they will review nearby surveillance cameras to see if any of them got a picture of the suspect.
