CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Four people were injured after an SUV overturned on Steele Creek Road in southwest Charlotte Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Steele Creek Road and Shopton Road West.
A car collided with an SUV causing the SUV to flip in the middle of the intersection.
Medic said four people suffered potentially life-threatening injuries and were transported to Carolinas Medical Center.

The accident has caused a three mile backup on Steele Creek Road. Crews were able to clear the scene an after the accident happened.
