DENVER, N.C. -- After months of investigating and surveilling a residence in Denver, narcotics officers and the Lincoln County SWAT team busted an illegal operation resulting in two arrests and the seizure of tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs.
The home of 20-year-old Dominik Kotowicz in the 4200 block of Pebble Lane was raided on Thursday night following a three-month operation by Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators.
Lucas Reid Graf, 22, was developed as a second suspect throughout the investigation and was present at the time the search warrant was executed.
Officers seized 2.5 pounds of marijuana and smaller amounts of cocaine, Xanax, Oxycodone and Hydrocodone, with a combined value of nearly $41,000, according to authorities.
In addition, $2180 in cash and two vehicles were confiscated in the raid.
Kotowicz is charged with one felony count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for a controlled substance, along with single misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kotowicz was booked in to the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $15,000 bond.
Graf is charged with trafficking heroin, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance Schedule VI, possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and possession of a controlled Substance IV, all felonies. Additionally, he faces one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. His bonds total $25,000.
