Thieves snag 3 A/C units from Gastonia church

GASTONIA, N.C. -- Sometime Tuesday night, thieves made off with three air conditioning units from a church in Gaston County.

Wednesday afternoon, Gastonia Police were dispatched to New Holy Temple in the 1400 block of West Airline Avenue for a reported theft.

The complainant stated three air conditioning unit had been stolen from the grounds.

The first, a five-ton A/C and heating unit made by Carrier, the second is a three-ton Lenox air conditioning and heating unit, and lastly, a 5000 BTU window air conditioning unit.

Gastonia Police are investigating.
