WEST CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Some local union members are angry about a lack of jobs and what our congressional leaders are doing about it.
About a dozen members of the AFLCIO handed out leaflets and held up signs to hundreds of jobseekers at Central Piedmont Community College's Harris campus.
The job fair was being hosted by congresswoman Sue Myrick Tuesday morning.
Unions say while the congress has focused on the debt ceiling, their members are concerned with jobs.
Congresswoman Myrick did not attend the jobs fair. She's still in Washington after voting late Monday in favor of the debt ceiling compromise.
