CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A roughly five foot water main break has shut down a section of Myers Park on Friday morning.
Crews are working to repair a water pipe in the 2500 block of Selwyn Avenue just west of Myers Park Country Club and south of Queens Road. The road is closed between Sterling Road and Ridgewood Avenue until further notice.
Traffic is being rerouted to Sterling Road, onto Croydn Road, then to Ridgewood Road before getting back onto Selwyn Avenue. Motorists should expect delays.
