West Charlotte business robbed at gunpoint Tuesday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help finding a pair of men who robbed an west Charlotte auto store at gunpoint on Tuesday.

The robbery took place at Mike’s Auto Sales located at 3820 Wilkinson Boulevard just east of Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

After entering the business the suspects “demanded money from the victims while armed with a firearm.  The suspects left the business in an unknown direction,” the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a statement.

No one was hurt during the incident, police said.

Both men are between 25-35 years old.  The first is an African American man between 5’5’’ and 5’8’’ and was wearing a tan brown coat and tennis shoes.  The second suspect is an African American man between 5’10’’ and 6’1’’ with a mustache and deadlocks.  He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
