Charlotte, N.C. -- Ballantyne Village, a boutique shopping center located in south Charlotte, welcomes new restaurant tenants; Mellow Mushroom and Terrace Café. Additional leases have been signed with Cellular Sales (a Verizon Wireless Authorized Dealer), eBuilder (a software management company) and Massage Envy which is expanding its existing Ballantyne Village location.

Mellow Mushroom:
Atlanta based restaurant, Mellow Mushroom, has leased 6838 square feet of restaurant space. The dynamic group of owners has selected Ballantyne as home to their second Charlotte location looking to attract the area’s large family and corporate park populations. For 36 years Mellow Mushroom has been serving up fresh stone baked pizzas to-order in an eclectic, art filled environment and now has over 100 locations. John Hadley of the Nichols Company represented Mellow Mushroom while Ballantyne Village was represented by Margie Bruner.

Terrace Café:
Launching its second location, Terrace Café will open in Ballantyne Village this summer. Stewart Pennick represented Terrace Café and Margie Bruner represented Ballantyne Village during negotiations for the family owned and operated group to lease 3878 square feet of space. Terrace Café’s South Park location has received a number of area restaurant awards and will bring the same excellence to Ballantyne.

These additions to Ballantyne Village’s tenant mix are anticipated to attract new and repeat patronage from the surrounding communities as well as metro Charlotte. The village environment of the shopping center provides a unique user experience with access to boutique shopping, exquisite restaurants and cafés, salon services and one of Charlotte’s few art house theatres. With its growing list of tenant’s Ballantyne Village serves as a destination location for shoppers, dinners and those looking for entertainment.

Ballantyne Village has opportunities to lease remaining retail/restaurant, medical, executive and office spaces.
