CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Investigators say the fire that caused an estimated $200,000 worth of damage to a Firebirds restaurant has been ruled accidental.
No one was injured when fire broke out at the restaurant in the Stonecrest Shopping Center in the Ballantyne area Tuesday morning.
The restaurant was not open when the blaze started.
Firefighters say a storage area suffered severe smoke damage.
Managers say the restaurant will be closed for at least a week.
