CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- City planners say the plans to build two condo towers near Dilworth should go back to the drawing board.
In February, the city's housing authority asked for permission to build a 200-foot tall condo tower on South Boulevard and a smaller office tower nearby.
Neighbors are working to block the project.
In a report issued Wednesday, planning staff says the proposed towers are too tall for the neighborhood.
City Council is scheduled to vote on the plan next month.
