BESSEMER CITY, N.C. -- A convicted rapist is facing new charges after being caught using Facebook.
Police say Kevin Crouse was arrested Saturday and later released from jail after posting $2,500 bond.
Crouse is a registered sex offender, which prohibits him from legally using social networking sites used by children.
According to a warrant, Crouse was using Facebook to contact others.
Crouse was released from jail in 1993 after being convicted of second-degree rape in Cabarrus County.
