GASTON COUNTY, N.C. -- More than two dozen firefighters responded to a house fire Saturday afternoon in Gaston County.
About 2:15, the Gastonia Fire Department got word of a structure fire in the 2100 block of Overhead Bridge Road.
When crews arrived on scene, smoke and flames were visible from the both the front and rear of the home, and officials say the residence was fully involved.
A total of 25 personnel extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes.
The home is a total loss, officials say.
No injuries were reported.
The fire has been ruled accidental by the Gaston County Fire Investigations Task Force.
